Our Works _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________     The design, manufacture and assembly of EOT Cranes, Goliath Cranes, Transfer Cars, Winches and other equipment covered in our product range, is carried out in the two primary manufacturing facilities located in Ambad Industrial Area of NASHIK. Structural, Mechanical and Electrical Design Groups are located in our PLANT 1. This Plant has a machine shop for manufacture of wheels, pulleys, axles, gears, gearboxes, snatch blocks, rope drums and other machined components and is serviced by EOT Cranes of 3 ton and 5 ton capacities. The Electrical Shop, also located in PLANT 1 manufactures Control Panels, which are completely wired and fully tested, including Insulation and High Voltage Tests. Plant 1 Plant 2 The Fabrication Bay in PLANT 1 is equipped with guided profile cutting, guided straight and circular cutting and sophisticated Metal Inert Gas Welding, Submerged Arc Welding and DC Welding equipment. This Bay is serviced by 10 ton capacity EOT Cranes, one of which is a Goliath Crane with a height of lift of 14 meters to permit assembly of Goliath Cranes. The Main Assembly Bay is serviced by EOT Cranes of 20 ton capacity, two of which in tandem can handle heavy pieces of up to 40 ton. This Bay has a Testing Pit, where load and overload test of Cranes up to 200 ton capacity has been carried out. Facility to test heavier cranes is being implemented. PLANT 2 has a 27M wide Bay serviced by EOT Cranes of 40t, two of which in tandem can handle 80 ton pieces. The Cranes have a lift of 16M, to accept, when required, assembly and testing of larger capacity cranes up to 400 ton. An auxiliary Bay is equipped with a 7.5 ton EOT Crane for handling of Steel plates.     One of the largest manufacturing facilities in India, if not the world, plant three represents the ambitious plans Unique has for the future. Located fifteen kms from Nasik, in an area called Gonde it covers 26 acres of area. The new plant will help us not only deliver quality cranes, but also will massively increase our production capacity. With four cranes of thirty ton capacity in one bay and four ten ton capacity cranes in the other, it is capable of manufacturing and load testing cranes of very high capacity. Complete assembly and dispatch of a larger number of cranes will take place from here. In addition with other facilities, there is also a stress relieving furnace is being installed at this plant. Plant 3   Quality Assurance is ingrained in the fabric of ‘UNIQUE’.
