Products    Traversers       Almost a decade ago, Unique was called upon to design and supply its first Traverser. The year was 1998, and Unique was already an established supplier of cranes to the Indian Railways. In its drive to modernize, C.O.F.M.O.W (CENTRAL ORGANISATION OF MODERENISATION OF WORKSHOPS) decided to award the contract of a surface type Traverser of eighty ton capacity. This was installed at the Ajmer workshop of the Indian Railways. This was followed by two other orders for similar capacity Traversers for the railway workshops of Jhansi and Liluah respectively. A massive technical and design challenge for a company like Unique, which at the time had no track record of manufacturing or designing such machines. With a lot of handwork and dedication, Unique managed to supply these Traversers in record time. They have been giving trouble free service to the Indian Railways ever since. Unique not only installed these machines, but also trained railway personnel in its use. Today, Unique manufactured Traversers are working in most major workshops of the Indian Railways. We also count among our clients, several esteemed Private companies such as Bombardier Transportation Ltd, and C.E.E.B.C.O. (COMMERCIAL ENGINEERS AND BODY BUILDERS PVT LTD).
